Woke up at 7am, and saw blue skies outside my window. I thought YES! I can wear my favourite dress today. Up out of bed, grabbed said dress from wardrobe, took blog picture, jumped in shower.
20 minutes later, all showered and suncreamed up. Sod's Law. The sun had gone! Its bloody raining! Grrrr! i have not worn this dress enough this summer. I love it so much.
So, I wore my Topshop black Maxi and Army jacket instead. And we all jumped into the car, for a trip to Morecambe.
Morecambe has a great Sunday market. We had a nice look round, got some pick and mix and I had a root through the second hand book stall. Found "We Need To Talk About Kevin" By Lionel Shriver for a Quid. I've been wanting to read this book since a saw the film.
Had a great day, even if I didn't get to wear my dress. Going to have a long bubble bath, and get a chinese take-out tonight. I've got a couple of Lovefilm DVD's to watch too.
